Our company was established in the Silesian town of Greiffenberg back in 1802. To start with, it focused on producing linen and linen prints. Then, at the beginning of the 20th century, the firm started concentrating on making men’s suits and jackets. Even back then, the company also produced workwear and leisure clothing.

After the Second World War, the firm started again in its current location, Bamberg, initially gaining a reputation as a manufacturer of ready-to-wear men’s clothing both in Germany and throughout Europe. It was during this time that we gained the experience which would later make us the number one producer of workwear. Today, GREIFF is a market-leading supplier of corporate wear and clothing for the food-service industry with more than 1,800 distribution partners throughout Europe and production sites all around the world.
